Solar energy
Solar energy technologies include solar photovoltaics, solar heating and concentrated solar power.
A new revolution could be asphalt roads being used as solar collectors. Solar collectors are everywhere such as home pathways, roof shingles, parking lots, roads, supermarket pavements, and airport tarmacs. Capturing solar energy from pavements will be a dubious task but it seems to be the wave of the future, as solar power energy is front and center. The heat collected from the roads will be able to create sources of electricity and hot water. The blacktop stays hot and could generate energy after the sun goes down, unlike traditional solar-electric cells.
